Meals Cost and Policy

Congregate meals are available Monday-Friday. The York County Area Agency on Aging pays for the meal at a cost of $3.75 per person (over age 60); however, they do ask for a donation of what you can afford to be dropped into the bucket on the lunch counter to help cover the cost. We welcome guests of any age for lunch; however, anyone younger than 60 must pay the full $3.75 for their meal. There are no income limits to eat. You must order a meal by 10 am one business day ahead by either calling or signing up at the center. We serve lunch here at 11:30 am each day.

We continue to deliver a 7-day frozen box of meals for home-delivered meals clients on Mondays. If you are homebound and over 60 years of age, you will want to call the York County Area Agency on Aging to see if you are eligible for this program at 717-771-9610.

If you are over 60 years of age and are not homebound, you may call the center at 717-266-1400. Leave your name, phone number, age, and tell us that you would like to participate in our take out meal program. We will help get you registered as a member with photo ID. Reminder, we must order the meals by 10 am one business day ahead, so you must call before 10 am on Fridays to get on for Mondays.
